Board at Edinburgh Waverley for champagne afternoon tea as the train passes Perth, Dunkeld, Pitlochry and Blair Atholl and climbs into the Highlands towards Aviemore and the Cairngorms. At Boat of Garten, a champagne reception is followed by a refined four-course dinner.

Day 2Rothiemurchus → DundeeDundee
After breakfast, a short coach ride takes you to Rothiemurchus Estate for clay pigeon shooting, fishing, an estate tour or a hike with a park ranger. Join Lorna for a barbecue lunch with the mountains as a backdrop, then rejoin the train at Carrbridge for a champagne reception and the run down the east coast to Dundee. A gala dinner is followed by music and farewell toasts with Lorna.
