Overview
The La Dolce Vita Orient Express leaves Rome in the morning and follows Tuscany to the Ligurian coast, where you spend the afternoon and evening in Portofino. After dinner on board, the train travels north overnight to reach Venice by late morning.

A private transfer brings you to the lounge at Rome Ostiense, and the train departs in the morning with lunch in the Restaurant Car. In the afternoon you arrive at Santa Margherita Ligure and transfer to Portofino to wander or join an optional experience. Back on board, dinner is followed by drinks and a live trio in the Bar Car.

Breakfast is served in your cabin or the Restaurant Car as the train crosses northern Italy. You arrive at Venezia Santa Lucia in the late morning, where the journey ends.

It is a one-night, two-day journey from Rome to Venice, departing in the morning and arriving in Venice in the late morning of the next day. The night is spent aboard in your cabin.

The train arrives at Santa Margherita Ligure in the afternoon, and you spend the rest of the afternoon and the evening in Portofino before returning for dinner. You return to the train at Santa Margherita Ligure.
Where does the journey end?
It ends at Venezia Santa Lucia station, right on the Grand Canal. Breakfast is served on board before arrival.
