Day 1Morning: London Victoria to Stamford
Board early at London Victoria and settle in with a welcome glass of sparkling wine as the train heads north.
Day 2Afternoon: Burghley House and Stamford
From Stamford station a private coach brings you to Burghley House, an Elizabethan stately home with rich history, superb art and magnificent gardens. Afterwards there is time to explore Stamford, a charming Georgian market town of honey-coloured stone.
Day 3Evening: return to London
Back on board, a glass of English fizz is followed by dinner, with coffee and petits fours before you arrive in London.

What time does the train leave and get back?
The British Pullman leaves London Victoria at about 08:00 and is due back at about 21:00. Timings are approximate and can change at short notice because the train runs on the national rail network.
Which meals are included?
Fine dining is served on board, including dinner on the return with a glass of English fizz, coffee and petits fours. The operator does not detail the outbound meal for this journey.
What should I wear?
Smart dress is expected: please leave denim, trainers, baseball caps, collarless T-shirts and shorts at home. Jackets and ties are not compulsory, but on the British Pullman you can never be overdressed.
