You are welcomed on board in Oviedo and settle into your suite, then begin with a visit to the historic centre of the Asturian capital. The day continues into the Picos de Europa among mountains, lakes and historic villages before you return to the train for dinner.

Breakfast is served as the train runs along the coast into Cantabria. You visit the Altamira Neocave and then Santillana del Mar, a medieval town of great historic and artistic value. After lunch the train continues to Santander, with free time before dinner.

Over breakfast the train covers the final stretch to Bilbao through classic northern scenery. Before saying goodbye to the crew you visit the city and the Guggenheim Museum, symbol of Bilbao's modern transformation.
