Seven nights from Delhi through royal Rajasthan, from Jaipur and Udaipur to the Jaisalmer dunes, finishing at the Taj Mahal.
India's original royal train, the Palace on Wheels spends a week circling Rajasthan from Delhi. Each carriage is decorated in honour of a former princely state, and the journey takes in Jaipur, Ranthambore, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bharatpur and the Taj Mahal.
Seven nights from Delhi through royal Rajasthan, from Jaipur and Udaipur to the Jaisalmer dunes, finishing at the Taj Mahal.
Every cabin has a doctor on call during the journey.

The train's saloons are each named after a former princely state, from Alwar and Bikaner to Jaisalmer and Kota, with interiors inspired by their royal heritage. A dedicated butler looks after every saloon day and night.
Between sightseeing days you can unwind in the bar car or book a treatment in the on-board spa.
Two restaurants serve the train. Sheesh Mahal glitters with traditional mirror work and offers international dishes alongside Rajasthani and Marwari specialities, while Swarn Mahal is dressed in rich golden tones with fine linen and soft lighting.
Some of the most memorable meals happen off the train: lunch at a lakeside hotel in Udaipur, dinner under the desert sky near Jaisalmer, and breakfast in a historic palace at Bharatpur.

The train runs a single seven-night, eight-day itinerary that starts and ends at Safdarjung station in Delhi. All seven nights are spent in your cabin on board.
The route covers Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur for Ranthambore, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bharatpur and Agra for the Taj Mahal, before returning to Delhi.
There are 36 Deluxe Cabins with twin beds, 3 Super Deluxe Cabins and 2 Suites with queen beds, and a single Presidential Suite with a king bed, lounge and bathtub. All have private bathrooms, an electronic safe and butler service.
The Deluxe Cabin suits most travellers and comes with twin beds and an en-suite shower. Super Deluxe, Suite and Presidential guests add a queen or king bed, a private car and guide for excursions and, in most cases, a couples' spa session.
Two restaurants, Sheesh Mahal and Swarn Mahal, serve international cuisine alongside Rajasthani and Marwari dishes. Several meals are taken ashore, including a lakeside lunch in Udaipur and a desert dinner near Jaisalmer.
