No. Every golf day has a leisure programme with game drives, tours and cultural visits, so golfers and non-golfers can travel together.
Why do guests leave the train near Gqeberha?
Parts of the line between Gqeberha and Cape Town have been damaged by fire and flooding. The operator has re-routed this section by road, keeping the Knysna, Fancourt, Oudtshoorn and Cango Caves excursions, and guests rejoin the train at Prince Albert Road.
Where is the night off the train?
Guests spend one night at Fancourt near George. Pack an overnight bag; a tog bag is provided in your suite.
Which game drives are included?
There are game drives in the Kruger, Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park and Addo Elephant Park for leisure guests. Golfers swap some of these for rounds of golf.
Are green fees included?
Yes, golf, green fees and carts are included. Golf at Leopard Creek may be booked on request at your own expense, depending on availability.
How do I check dates and fares?
